Back to the Future
Rounded shapes were a must in the 50s and 60s, and have come back around in design today. The worlds of furniture, clothing and cars are bringing out lines that are increasingly soft, sensual and decisive. This is the inspiration for the Filo line. The small balls of fabric, connected to each other like in the ancient art of crochet, and the soft design that distinguishes all the containers in the range and gives them a vintage yet truly current charm.
Home made, with love
The fabric that covers the containers in the Filo line is inspired by the simple beauty of everything that is hand made, with love, and the idea of "craft", which is so beloved in today's era of technology. The functionality of the plastic is combined with a romantic, nostalgic soul, reminiscent of the ancient art of crochet, which is traditionally practised all over the world and is used to cover the Filo containers.
Touch me, please!
When you touch the products in the Filo line, you really understand that you are feeling something that has been handmade. Studying the crocheting technique meant Kis was able to develop the Filo collection and combine the pleasant effect of the woven fabric with the convenience and durability of plastic.
Colours: from classic to pastel
Filo's colour palette includes shades inspired by nature and also pastel colours, which have a vintage heart but are still very current in the world of fashion and design.
The natural colours, ranging from mahogany Chocolate Brown, to dove-grey Colonial Taupe, and bright and delicate Romantic Ivory, furnish spaces with a light, understated touch.
The pastel colours, Smoky Grey and Desert Rose, bring a contemporary, fresh style to any room, whether at home or in the office.
